About Dr. Mayhew
Maureen Mayhew is a family doctor who has spent three decades providing primary care and leading public health programs across Canada, Asia and Africa. As a practicing leadership coach, she looks to engage with people across Canada and provide insights on her diverse experiences in health. She is also a clinical professor at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Mayhew recently wrote a memoir called “Hand on My Heart” about her time in Taliban-occupied Afghanistan.
