People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) experience unique strengths and challenges across the lifespan, have poorer overall health, and exhibit medical complexity. The Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Interest Group (IDDIG) is passionate about enhancing IDD education for medical students and advocating for improved healthcare for people with IDD.
