Sustainability in the OR (SIG x SACC)

Come join SIG and SACC for our Sustainability in the OR event. We are lucky to be joined by Dr. Husein Moloo, who is a staff colorectal surgeon at the Ottawa Hospital, Director of Planetary Health at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Medicine, and Physician Lead of Planetary Health at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. With Earth Day coming up on April 22, it is important to think about how we can be more environmentally friendly and elicit change. Healthcare is a significant contributor of pollution globally, so as future physicians, we need to be aware of how we can lessen the environmental impact of healthcare.
